Dr Sandy Johnson has been researching skin care products since 1997 during her residency. She has been on the front lines giving her opinions in both the scientific literature as well as the lay press including being quoted in Allure, Prevention, and Shape. Our flagship skin care line is produced by Topix Pharmaceuticals. They manufacture our products for daily skin care, rejuvenation, acne, rosacea, and a variety of other conditions. Some of our products contain the following ingredients.
- green tea for a powerful antioxidant effect
- retinol for smoother firmer skin
- Benzoyl peroxide for acne
We offer products from Pharmaceutical Specialties, Inc for patients who cannot tolerate or want to tolerate the common chemical ingredients found in many available skin care products. We recommend these products especially for people with eczema, allergies, or inflamed skin.
We pride ourselves in offering prodcuts that have proven ingredients and have been tested in the scientific community as well as by the team in our clinic. If a product does not pass our tests, we will not recommend it. You may be assured you are buying products that we feel comfortable in putting our name and reputation. In general, Dr. Sandy advises everyone to use smart sun protection during the day and a topical retinol at night.
We offer a variety of specialty products to fit every need. We also carry the Clarisonic Skin Brush as described by Dr. Sandy in Women's Health magazine during the Summer of 2008.
In addition to carrying skin care products to keep your skin healthy, we also carry products to help treat diseased skin, improve scars, or camouflage diseased skin. We also carry colored cosmetics.
