About the Medicaid Walk-In Clinic
The Johnson Dermatology Medicaid Walk-in Clinic gives our patients timely access to care in the face of lengthening wait times for our appointments. A limited number of patients will be seen on a first come first served basis.
The Medicaid Walk-in Clinic will occur on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30 AM.
To be seen you must:
- Arrive at our clinic no later than 7:30
- Have a valid ID for the patient
- Have the patient's AR Medicaid Card - If you do not have a card, a copy of the letter that includes your AR Medicaid ID number from the AR Dept of Human Services is acceptable. ** According to AR Med Guidelines we are not allowed to see you without a copy of at least one of these on file.
- Must have a referral from your PCP - you may bring a paper copy of your referral.
- If your PCP is sending your referral, it must be here by noon on the Wednesday before the walk-in clinic you plan to attend.
- We must have an accurate email on file for your account so that we send you a message through our patient portal to confirm we have your referral from your PCP.
Required Paperwork
We encourage you to bring a copy of the Medicaid referral with you on the day of your visit to ensure you are able to be seen.
